A new network of COVID testing facilities including?five regional drive-through test sites and at a number of mobile test units (MTUs) has been established by the UK government.The programme, which?runs alongside the existing programme of testing in the NHS for clinical purposes and testing of key workers in health and social care, will allow symptomatic key workers (and others who cannot work from home), and anyone over the age of five who have symptoms, to know whether or not they have the virus.The tests, which are available on an appointment based system only, can be booked through the UK Government?s on-line?system?and will be conducted at one of the five regional drive-through test sites or at one of the MTUs. The five drive-through test sites are in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness and Perth.?
