Covid-19: Working Together
Over the last 6 months, UCT has worked closely with other local groups and with Highlands and Islands Enterprise to access Scottish Government funding for our community. As a result, £27,846 was granted to local initiatives between March and October 2020, helping the community respond to the effects of Covid-19.
Your Community Needs You!
Could you be a UCT board member to help our community strengthen and build its resources over the coming months? Or perhaps you could be a volunteer and help out at the New Broom or join one of the UCT working groups? We are stronger together, so please consider getting involved.
It’s Easy to Take Part
Just drop us an email or give Gill at the New Broom a call for a chat to find out more. We welcome new ideas and perspectives! Our areas of focus were nominated by the community and currently are:
Employment and Training, Affordable Housing, Community Transport, Recreation and Leisure, Support for Existing Initiatives & Groups, Sustainability and Environment, Accessibility & Infrastructure, Health and Wellbeing.
