Dentistry Needs Surveys June 2025

We carried out two surveys to understand the need for an adult dentistry service in Ullapool to complement the current service for young people. The results showed strong support for this additional service. We communicated the survey findings to NHS Highland who found the results compelling and have since been in discussion to see if the demand can be met. Survey findings here and here. Community Survey 2024-2026

We opened another detailed consultation in 2024 which explained what our working groups had been working on and asked questions about this as well as the community’s ongoing needs. The information from that and our previous surveys has informed our Vision for Lochbroom 2030.

Community Survey 2021

We had 304 completed responses from a cross section of the community which included both those living in Ullapool itself and those from further afield.

The main aim of the survey was to find out the areas that are the most important to you. This continues to inform where we will concentrate our focus and resources.

The top three topics that people were most concerned about were Affordable Housing, Employment and Training, and Sustainability, Environment and Climate Change.
