Community Benefit Fund (CBF) Update: May 2025 awards

LUCT is delighted to announce the following projects have been successful in their bids for the recent funding round. A total of £11,133 was awarded.

Isle Martin Trust – Infrastructure £3,000

Dundonnell Mountain Recue- Ullapool Stretcher £2,133

North West Highlands Geopark- Schools Programme £1,500

Church of Scotland - Superkids £1,000

Sea Wilding Oyster Project £1,000

Ullapool Museum – digital upgrade £1,000

Welcome Ullapool- bench project £1,000

Isle Martin Trust Mearl Habitat Project £500

 

 

This is the first round of funding this year and was resourced from surplus income from the Broom Power Hydro scheme and individual donations.  We will announce on social media, our website and by notice in the Ullapool News when the fund opens again for applications,  probably Autumn 2025.

Our sincere thanks to the independent CBF panel of volunteers, whose work to award this funding is much appreciated. Panel members come from all parts of our community and meet once or twice a year to disburse available funds. If you would like to discuss joining the panel, please contact LUCT at the address below. You must be resident within the LUCT remit area, which extends from Elphin in the North down to Gruinard in the south.
